     Thomas Hanson was born say 1615.1 He married Mary (---) circa 1638 at Strafford County, New Hampshire.2,3 He died circa 1666 at Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire.4
     

Thomas was in Dover, New Hampshire by 1657. He had a grant of 100 acres near Salem Falls, NH in 1658. He was admitted a freeman in Dover, 4 May 1661. In 1664/5 he lived in Cocheco where he was taxed as Thomas, Sr. His widow was taxed in 1666 and 1672. The will of Thomas Hanson was admitted to probate 27 Jun 1666 and his wife Mary was named as executrix. He gave money to his two daughters, and divided his real estate and other property among his sons, Tobias, Thomas, Isaac, and Timothy (the latter two then under age).3,5
