William Robinson was born 21 April 1776 at Concord, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.2 He married Martha Cogswell, daughter of Emerson Cogswell and Eunice Robinson, 11 February 1804 at Concord.3,2 He died 12 December 1837 at Concord.4,2 He was buried at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.5

William worked as a hatter for other shop owners, including his father-in-law and Comfort Foster who had a shop on the main street of Concord.6
