Samuel Lothrop, son of Reverend John Lothrop and Hannah House, was born about 1621.1 He died at Norwich, Connecticut, 28 February 1700.2

Samuel married Elizabeth Scudder, daughter of John Scudder and Elizabeth Stoughton, at Barnstable, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, 28 November 1644.3,4
