Wilford Ervie Billings was born 5 March 1905 at Hollis, Cloud Co., Kansas.1,4,5,6,7,8 He married Ethel M (---) about 1924 at Kansas.9,10 He and Ethel M (---) were divorced before 1928.9 He married Jennie Luene Logan, daughter of Dana Roy Logan and Chella Mae Gardner, 26 August 1928 at Salida, Chaffee Co., Colorado; Bible record states Howard, [Fremont Co.] Colorado. Memory book says Salida. The marriage certificate says Salida (in Chaffee Co.), and the license was issued 30 July 1928 in Canon City, Fremont Co.11,12,13,14 He died 17 January 1980 at Dodge City, Ford Co., Kansas.4,5 He was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City, Ford Co., Kansas.4

For their 50th wedding anniversary, Jennie wrote a brief memoir of their lives.15

Wilford and Jennie had eight children, six still living.
