George West Wynyard Colonel was born 18 May 1762.2 He died 14 June 1809.2

Col. West George Wynyard, 24th Light Dragoons, served under his 1st cousin Lt. Gen. William St. Leger who was Lt. Colonel of the 24th Light Dragoons between 1797-1814.

Was twice wounded in the American war. About 1791 was serving with Sir.John Sherbroke.3
