Hannah Ward was born in 1639.1,2 She was the daughter of William Ward and Elizabeth (---).1,2,3 She married Abraham How 6 May 1657 at Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 She died 3 November 1717 at Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.4,1
When daughter Abigail died in 1697, Hannah was willing to be administratix of her estate, but she was described as lame and not well, so the court appointed Joseph Howe to serve.
Whatever her health issues, Hannah lived another 20 years, leaving a will dated 1 June 1716 and proved 26 June 1718 describing herself as well-stricken in years and widow and relict of Abram How, naming:
six daughters: Mary Bowker, Hannah How, Elisebath Brigham, Deorah Barrat, Rebakah Rice, Sarah Straten
son Daniel
Daniel to be executor.
Daniel declined to serve as executor so Peter Rice took administration.5
