- [S811] Woolsey, James W.. The Wolsey-Woolsey Family of America. Two parts. Kansas City, Missouri: Heart of America Genealogical Society, 1981. A loosely organized collection of original research by J. W. Woolsey through 1981. Paging was written in by hand by the author, but prior to filming the pages were renumbered consecutively with a Bates numbering machine. Citations to this work use the Bates paging. Woolsey did good research and corrected many early mistakes, but he apparently had neither the skills nor the tools to bring his work to a professional level of presentation.
