Lydia Mahala Stafford, daughter of Barton Stafford and Abigail Butts, was born at Manchester, Ontario Co., New York, 9 July 1839.1,2,3,4,5 She died at Munden, Republic Co., Kansas, 31 August 1898, and was buried at the Ida Cemetery, Munden, Republic Co., Kansas.1
