Anthony Goosense Van Schaick, son of Captain Goosen Gerritse Van Schaick and Geertie Van Nieuwkerk, was born at Albany, Albany Co., New York, in 1655.1 He died 31 January 1736/37, "in the 82d year of his age,"2,3 and was buried at Albany, 4 February 1736/37.1
