Daniel Palmer, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born at New York, about 1796.1 He died at Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York, 19 January 1853,1,2,3 and was reinterred at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York, 21 October 1869. His first burial is unknown, but his second is in the same lot as his daughter Amelia, and where Permelia was later buried.4

Daniel married, as her 2nd husband, Permelia Sherman, daughter of David Sherman and Sarah Fancher, at Troy, Rensselaer Co., New York, 18 April 1837.1,3
