John married (1) Maud de Swinnerton, daughter of Sir Robert de Swinnerton, Knt., 4th Lord Swinnerton and Elizabeth Beke, before 1401;3,2 he married (2), as her 3rd husband, Ellen Urswick, daughter of Sir Robert Urswick, Knt. and Ellen (---).2
