Robert II "the Pious," King of France, son of Hugues Capet, King of France and Adélaïde, was born at Orleans, France, between 970 and 974.1,2 He died at Melun, France, 20 July 1031.1,2

Robert married, as her 2nd husband, (1) Rosela "Susanna", daughter of Berengario II, King of Italy and Willa of Arles, between 989 and 990;1 they later divorced, between 991 and 993;1 he married (2) Berta, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), between October 996 and February 997;1 they later divorced, before May 1004;1 he married (3) Constance of Arles, daughter of Guillaume II "le Libérateur," Marquis of Provence and Adélaïde "Blanche," of Anjou, about May 1004.2
