Elizabeth of England, daughter of Edward I "Longshanks," King of England and Eleanor of Castile, was born at Rhuddlan Castle, Caernarvonshire, Wales, 7 August 1282. She died at Quendon, Essex, England, 5 May 1316,1 and was buried at Walden Abbey, Essex, England.1

Elizabeth married (1) Johann I, Count of Holland and Zeeland, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here);1 she married (2) Sir Humphrey de Bohun Knt., 8th Earl of Hereford, 9th Earl of Essex, son of Sir Humphrey de Bohun, Knt., 7th Earl of Hereford, 8th Earl of Essex and Maud de Fiennes, 14 November 1302.1
