Mary Cook, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born at Rhode Island, 6 September 1778.1,2 She died between 1863 and 1865 when she is named in her husband's probate as his widow in 1863, but not named in subsequent filings, the next being in 1865; nor has she been found in the 1865 New York state census.3,2

Mary married William Stafford, son of Joshua Stafford and Susannah Cory, 31 October 1802.1,2
