William de Lanvalay, son of William de Lanvalay and Hawise de Buckland, was born after 1189 being still a minor in 1210.1 He died before 3 October 1217, when his lands were granted to others.2 Both he and his wife were buried at Chapter House at St. John's Abbey, Colchester, Essex, England.2

William married Maud Pecche, daughter of Gilbert Pecche and Alice Fitz Walter, after 1212.2
