Nathaniel Foote, son of Robert Foote and Joan Brooke, was born at Shalford, Essex, England, 21 September 1592.1 He died before 20 November 1644 at Wethersfield, Connecticut, when his inventory was taken,2,1 and was probably buried behind the Meeting house, Wethersfield, Connecticut, though no stone survives.3,1

Nathaniel married Elizabeth Deming, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), in 1616.1,4

On 20 November 1644, a copy was made of the "county court record of Wethersfield, Connecticut relating to the distribution of the estate of Nathaniel Foote of Wethersfield, lately deceased."5
