Nathaniel Foote, son of Robert Foote and Joan Brooke, was born at Shalford, Essex, England, 21 September 1592.1 He died before 20 November 1644 at Wethersfield, Connecticut, when his inventory was taken,2,1 and was probably buried behind the Meeting house, Wethersfield, Connecticut, though no stone survives.3,1
