William Holbrook, son of Thomas Holbrook and Jane Powys, was born probably shortly before his baptism at St Johns, Glastonbury, Somersetshire, England, 12 June 1620.1

William married (1) Elizabeth Pitts, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before 1655;2 he married (2), as her 3rd husband, Abigail Wright, daughter of Richard Wright and Margaret (…), in 1696.1,3
