Esther Lawrence, daughter of Deacon Richard Lawrence, was born at Branford, Connecticut,1 probably shortly before she was baptized at New Haven, Connecticut, 1 June 1651.1 She died at Newark, Essex Co., New Jersey, after 1697.1

Esther married John Bruen, son of Obadiah Bruen and Sarah Seeley, at Newark 1667.2,1,3
