John Quincy Adams, son of John Adams and Abigail Smith, was born at Quincy, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts, 11 July 1767.1 He died at the Capitol Building, Washington, D.C., 23 February 1848,1 and was buried at the United First Parish Church, Quincy, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.2
