Nicholas Brinck, son of Thomas Brink and Francyntjen Schoonhoven, was born probably shortly before his baptism at Kingston, Ulster Co., New York, 20 October 1728.1,2 He died at Owego, Tioga Co., New York, before 4 July 1804.3

Nicholas married (1) Catherine Decker, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Walpack, Sussex Co., New Jersey, 5 February 1749;3,4 he married (2) Hester van Garden, daughter of Peter van Garden and Margaret Decker, at Walpack, 1758.3,5
