Roeloff Swartwout, son of Thomas Swartwout, was born probably shortly before his baptism at Oude-Kerk, Amsterdam, Holland, 1 June 1634.1 He died at Ulster Co., New York, before 14 May 1715.1
Roeloff married (1), as her 2nd husband, Eva Albertsen, daughter of Albert Andriessen Bratt and Annatie Barents, at New Amsterdam, New Netherlands, 13 August 1657;1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Francyntje Jochemsen, daughter of Andries Jochemsen and Seletien Fredericks, in 1691.2
