James Duncanson, son of John Duncanson and Janet Watson, was born at Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland, about 1564.1,2 He died at Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, 11 July 1624.1,2

James married Helen Livingston, daughter of Henry Livingston and Agnes Gray, before 12 October 1610, but most likely about 1603.3,2

They had three additional children, alive in 1633, whose names are unknown.
