William Cross, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died at Fairfield, Connecticut, before 7 September 1655, when his estate was inventoried.1,2

William married Margaret (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at St. Mary Magdalene, Taunton, Somerset, England, 11 November 1630.3,2,4

He may be the Wm Crosse who married Margret Weeche 11 Nov 1630, St. Mary Magdalene, Taunton, Somerset, Eng.

He served in the Pequot War, 1637; settled early in Windsor, was in Wethersfield by 1644, and finally removed to Fairfield.

His inventory was taken 7 Sep 1655 and mentions widow and orphans. The estate was insolvent and heavily in debt so there was no distribution to the heirs. Although proof positive is lacking on the relationship between him and his children, their relationship to each other is thoroughly established, mainly because they all shared in the estate of their brother John.2,3,5
