Elizabeth Towner, daughter of Elijah Towner and Mary Knapp, was born at Rome, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania, 8 December 1801.1 She died at Rome, 21 June 1838, aged 36y, 7m,1,2 and was buried at Towner Hill Cemetery, Rome, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania.2

Elizabeth Towner married George Billings, whose parents are unknown , at Sheshequin, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania, about 1820.1

Marjorie Templeton's sheet says Elizabeth was born 8 Jun 1808/8 Nov 1801 and that she died on the McCabe Farm which is also known as Towner Hill Cemetery #2.

Elizabeth's birth is based on the information written on her grave marker: 36 y, 7 m, 13 d.3,2
