Phebe Cook, daughter of Zebulon Cook and Mary Jones, was born 12 August 17921,2,3,4 and baptised at Hanover, Morris Co., New Jersey, in 1793.5 She died 20 December 1869,6 and was buried at First Presbyterian Church of Hanover Cemetery, Hanover, Morris Co., New Jersey, where her stone is inscribed:

We never fathomed half thy worth,
Till now, dear Mother thou art gone.6
