Dr. John Darcy, perhaps the son of Patrick Darcy and Eleanor (…), was born 11 October 1760 (The Darcy Monument at the Hanover Cemetery does not specify relationships).1 He died at Morristown, Morris Co., New Jersey, 13 February 1822,1 and was buried at First Presbyterian Church of Hanover Cemetery, Hanover, Morris Co., New Jersey.2

John married (1) Phebe Johnes, daughter of Samuel Stevens Johnes and Sarah Wheeler, at Morristown, 24 May 1787.3,4
