Timothy Johnes Lewis, son of Joseph Lewis and Anna Johnes, was born at Morristown, Morris Co., New Jersey, 10 March 17801 and baptised there, 23 April 1780.1 He died at Morristown, 19 January 1814.1

Timothy married Abigail Lettice.2

Timothy left a will dated 6 January 1814, and proved 19 Feb 1814:
of Morristown, Morris Co;
Wife, Abigail Lerue, all household goods; 1/2 of residue of estate, real and personal, after debts are paid.
Two daughters, Sophia Woodhull and Ann Maria, remainder of estate, real and personal, equally; but if either should die before inheriting, her share equally to wife and surviving sister.
Executrix—wife, Abigail.
Witnesses—Jos. Lewis, Francis C. Johnes, William J. Lewis.
Proved Feb. 19, 1814, when wife signed as Abby Larue Lewis.
