John Lowry Price, son of John Price, was born on the Little Pee Dee River in North Carolina.1

John married Nancy Voss, daughter of James Voss, at Johnston Co., North Carolina, about 8 April 1809.1,2

He was a soldier all through the War of 1812 and was slightly wounded. He migrated to Barren Co., Kentucky in the early settlement of that state.

Records of his service have not yet been found (Apr 2023).1
