Sir Robert de Umfreville, Knt., Earl of Angus, son of Sir Gilbert de Umfreville, Knt., Earl of Angus and Elizabeth Comyn, Countess of Angus, was born about 1277.1 He died 12 April 1325,1 and was buried at Newminster Abbey, Northumberland, England.1

Robert married (1) Lucy de Kyme, daughter of Sir Philip de Kyme Knt., 1st Lord Kyme and Joan le Bigod, before 20 September 1303;1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Eleanor (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), after 1318.2
