Sir Marmaduke Constable, Knt., son of Sir Robert Constable, Knt. and Agnes Wentworth, was born between 1443 and 1447, being age 31 at his father's death (1488), over 40 at his mother's death (1496), and 70 in 1513.^1,2 He died 20 November 1518,^1,2 and was buried at Flamborough, Yorkshire, England.²

Marmaduke married (1) Margery Fitzhugh, daughter of Sir Henry Fitz Hugh and Alice Neville;^1,2 he married (2) Joyce Stafford, daughter of Sir Humphrey Stafford, Knt. and Eleanor Aylesbury.^2,1
