Sir Herbert de Saint Quintin, Knt., son of William de Saint Quintin and Beatrice de Sutton, died in February 1301/2.1

Herbert married Margaret de Fauconberge, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here).2

Foster noted his wife's name name was perhaps Mary, daughter of Walter Fauconberg of Skelton, but she was not seen in other records. However, Richardson found Margaret in a lawsuit of 1305 styled as the widow of Herbert, and a pedigree that shows her as a daughter of Walter de Fauconbridge.3,2
