Thomas Stewart, 2nd Earl of Angus, son of Sir John Stewart, Knt., 1st Earl of Angus and Margaret Abernethy, was born about 1330.1 He died of the plague while in prison at Dumbarton, Scotland, in 1361.2

Thomas married Margaret Sinclair, daughter of Sir William Sinclair, Knt., of Roslin, about 1353.2
