Joan de Ros married Stephen II de Meinill, son of Robert II de Meinill.1

Joan is probably a niece of Walter de Ros, who is described as an uncle to [her son] Robert de Meinill (III), in a grant to Kirkham Priory which was confirmed in 1203 by Walter's brother Piers, and Robert de Ros, the chief Lord.2
