Sir Geoffrey le Scrope, K.B., son of Sir William le Scrope, Knt. and Constance Gille, was born about 1280.1 He died at Ghent, Belgium, about 2 December 1340,2 and was buried at Coverham Abbey, Yorkshire, England.2

Geoffrey married (1) Ivette de Roos, daughter of Sir William de Roos, Knt. and Eustache Fitz Ralph, before 1312;1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Lora de Furnival, whose ancestry is not traced here but was the widow of John de Usflete, before 1331.2
