John de Rocliffe, son of David de Rocliffe, was born about 1310.1 He died before 6 April 1348, "when the sheriff of York was ordered to cause a verderer for the forest of Galtres to be elected in place of John de Rouclyf, deceased."1

John married Margery (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before Easter, 1332.1
