Sir John de Montagu, Knt., Lord Montagu, son of Sir William de Montagu, Knt., 1st Earl of Salisbury, 3rd Lord Montagu and Katherine de Grandison, died 25 February 1389/90,1 and was buried at the Lady Chapel of Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.1

John married Margaret de Monthermer, Lady Montagu, daughter of Sir Thomas de Monthermer, Knt., 2nd Lord Monthermer and Margaret de Brewes, before 1 February 1340/41.1
