Sir William de Tracy, Knt., whose ancestry and wife are unknown (or not traced here), had at least one son.1,2

There seems to be no evidence that he is the same as the bastard son of King Henry I. See Ancestral Roots (also in 7th ed.) for the statement that he is the same, and Richardson's later posting that there is no evidence for it, not explaining his change in thinking (he originally authored the AR line).2,1
