Joan married (1) Thomas Fitz John, 2nd Earl of Kildare, Justiciar of Ireland, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here);1 she married (2), as his 2nd wife, Sir John Darcy, Knt., 1st Lord Darcy of Knaith, son of Sir Roger Darcy, Knt. and Isabel de Aton, at Maynooth, Kildare, Ireland, 3 July 1329.1
