John married (1) Katherine de Stafford, daughter of Sir Ralph de Stafford, K.G., 2nd Lord Stafford and Margaret de Audley, 25 December 1357;2 he married (2) Joan de Clinton, daughter of Sir John Clinton, Knt. and Joan Hillary, after 1362.3
