John Tripp, son of John Tripp and Isabel Moses, was born probably shortly before his baptism at Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England, 8 September 1611.1 He died at Portsmouth, Newport Co., Rhode Island, before 28 October 1678, when his will was proved.2,3

John married Mary Paine, daughter of Anthony Paine, before 1640.2,4
