Hester Sherman, daughter of Edmund Sherman and Grace Makin, was born probably shortly before her baptism at Dedham, Essex, England, 1 April 1606.1 She died at Fairfield, Connecticut, between 27 December 1665 and 30 January 1665/66, dates of her will and inventory.2

Hester married Andrew Ward, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), about 1628.2,3
