William Palmes, son of Thomas Palmes, Esq. and Alice Pickering, died before 6 March 1478/79, when his will was proved.1 In his will he requested burial at the Church of St. George, York, Yorkshire, England.1

William married Ellen Rocliffe, daughter of Guy Rocliffe, Baron of the Exchequer.2
