Sir Richard de Stafford, K.B., Lord Stafford, son of Edmund de Stafford, 1st Lord Stafford and Margaret Basset, was born about 1305.1 He died 13 August 1380.1

Richard married (1) Isabel de Vernon, daughter of Sir Richard de Vernon, Knt. and Maud de Camville, before 16 March 1339;1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Maud de Stafford, daughter of Sir John de Stafford, Knt. and Elizabeth de Somerville, about 6 November 1371.2
