Mathieu de Montmorency, seigneur of Attichy, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died at Mansurah, Egypt, February 1250.1

Mathieu married, as her 2nd husband, Marie of Ponthieu, daughter of William II Talvas, Count of Ponthieu and Montreuil and Alice of France, between September 1240 and 15 December 1241.1
