Sir Baldwin de Freville, Knt., son of Sir Baldwin de Freville, Knt. and Ida de Clinton, was born about 1349.1 He died 30 December 1387.1

As a child, Baldwin was contracted to marry Elizabeth Botetourt, daughter of Sir John Botetourt, 2nd Lord Botetourt and Joyce la Zouche, but she did not live to maturity;2 he married (2) Joyce Botetourt, daughter of Sir John Botetourt, 2nd Lord Botetourt and Joyce la Zouche, and sister of Elizabeth.3
