Maud de Grey, daughter of Sir John de Grey, Knt., 2nd Lord Grey of Rotherfield and Maud (…), Lady Grey of Rotherfield, died 28 November 1423.1

Maud married (1), as his 2nd wife, Sir Ralph Hastings, Knt., son of Sir Hugh de Hastings, Knt. and Margaret de Herle, before 1379;1 she married (2) Sir Ralph Botreaux, Knt., son of Sir William de Botreaux, Knt., 1st Lord Botreaux and Elizabeth d'Aubeney, after 1397.1

Royal Ancestry (RA) notes: "The identification of Maud, wife of Ralph Hastings, Knt., as the daughter of John de Grey, Knt., 2nd Lord Grey of Rotherfield (died 1375) is made on the basis of several pieces of evidence which taken together point to her parentage." None of those "pieces" are presented in RA, but they are found in two threads (see citations) on the SGM newsgroup.2,3,4
