Richard Sawtell was born about 1611.1 He died at Watertown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, 21 August 1694.1

Richard married Elizabeth (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before 1638, when their first recorded child was born.1,2

Threllfall suggests Richard might be the son of a John Sawtell, alias Dolman of Somersetshire as he had a son Richard baptized there 7 April 1611. However, the earlier article mentions a brother Thomas, and a sister Ann Kenrick. Neither of those sibblings are given in the addenda.3
