Thomas Jolls, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died at London, England, before 13 November 1685, when Sewall recorded his death.1

Thomas married (1) Abigail (…), before 1672;2,3 he married (2) Susannah (…), before 1677;4,3 he married (3), as her 2nd husband, Hannah Briggs, about 1681. The ancestries of Hannah (known), Abigail and Susannah (both unknown), are not traced here.2,3

He is mentioned three times in Sewall's Diary:
29 July 1685, "Jolls arrived in whom went the Letter concerning the Kings Proclamation."
13 Oct 1685, "Is a rumor in Town of Jolls's being cast away on the Cape and all the Passengers Lost but five Persons; Mr. Randolph drowned: but suppose all groundless.
Friday, Nov 13 [1685] Capt. Jolls dead in London.5
