Captain Michael Pierce, son of Thomas Pearson and Elizabeth Brymley, was born probably shortly before his baptism at Olney, Buckinghamshire, England, 9 September 1621.1 He was killed in a battle with Indians, 26 March 1676.2

Michael married (1) Persis Eames, daughter of Anthony Eames and Margery Seager, before 1645;3 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Anne (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before 1664.4

Michael left a will dated 15 January 1675/76, and proved 5 Ju[ly 1676]. He wrote it because, in his words, "being now by the appointment of God going out to war, against the Indians…." In it he mentioned or named:
