Captain Michael Pierce, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born about 1615.1 He was killed in a battle with Indians, 26 March 1676.1

Michael married (1) Persis Eames, daughter of Anthony Eames and Margery (…), before 1645;2 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Anne (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before 1664.3

Michael left a will dated 15 January 1675/76, and proved 5 Ju[ly 1676]. He wrote it because, in his words, "being now by the appointment of God going out to war, against the Indians…." In it he mentioned or named:
