Teunis Cornelise van der Poel, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died after June 1687.1

Teunis married Catrine Janse Croone, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), say 1660.1

He was in Beverwyck, 1660-1687. He owned half of Constapel's Island opposite Paerde Hoeck. In 1671 he was one of the magistrates of Albany.

He made his will 17 June 1687 and spoke of his wife Catrine Janse Croon, to whom he left a house and lot in Amsterdam. She later left it to her three daughters: Elizabeth wife of Bennony Van Corlaer (was widow of Sybrant van Schaick), Maria, wife of Anthony Van Schaick, and Johanna, wife of Barent Lewis.1
